Allows Dual Supply Connection
A 6 Way bypass valve has 2 inlets and 2 outlets other than the In & Out connection from water softener. So, if you have multiple supply of water like one is from corporation and other one from your bore, you can connect both of them simultaneously with your water softener using the bypass valve. No extra plumbing shall be required. This means that all the water from both the supply lines will be soften by the water softener and your plumber needs not to use any plumbing tee for its connection.
Easy Maintenance & Shifting
A water softener occasionally may be needed to put to maintenance or replacement of resin beads. A bypass valve attached to it can make this a breeze. Removing just 2 cir-clips can uninstall the whole unit in seconds and any maintenance or shifting can be done. Also, just putting the know towards Pass-Way will let all the water go directly into the main tank insuring no leakage at all.
Allows Balancing of Soft Water
If you have used a Water Softener, you might feel the water has become much softer and not letting soap go from your skin. Soft Water does not let any hard metals touch your skin and since the skin becomes smooth, this slippery feel is a common phenomenon in Water Softener users.
This can be easily resolved by just adding some raw water along with the soft water. A bypass valve has this function of little bypasses allowing you to add just little raw water to your soft water in main tank.
